Super Metroid broke into the big picture of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994, establishing itself as a sequel to a teacher and is a masterpiece of the genre Metroidvania. Developed by Nintendo R&D1 and led by Yoshio Sakamoto, the game expanded significantly the universe of Metroid, introducing new gameplay elements, a calm atmosphere and a level design intricate for it to become an obligatory reference for game of exploration and action.

History
Samus Aran, a bounty hunter intergalactic renown, received a crucial mission: to travel to the planet Zebes, once the cradle of an alien civilization advanced, now is fraught with dangers, and under the control of the evil space pirate Ridley. The goal: to rid the Metroids, creatures parasitic with a potential bioenergy colossal Ridley seeks to exploit to conquer the galaxy.
Samus, equipped with his suit Phazon and your arsenal of weapons, delves into the depths of Zebes. Face hordes of hostile enemies, from simple aliens to robots, drones and heads colossal, each with their own weaknesses, and attack patterns.
Explore the labyrinthine tunnels and open areas of Zebes, solving puzzles, witty and opening new paths with skills acquired throughout his journey. Each step brings her closer to her ultimate goal: the lair of Ridley, where is waged an epic battle.
In a confrontation electrifying, Samus is facing Ridley, using all their skills and resources to defeat him. The battle is intense and devastating, but Samus emerges victorious. With Ridley defeated, the threat of Metroids dissipates, and peace returns to the galaxy.
However, an unexpected twist occurs when Samus discovered a Metroid baby, the last calf of his kind. Moved by compassion, Samus decides to protect the Metroid baby, taking him to a space station safe.
