History
On Kong Island, home of the gorilla Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong, peace and plenty reign... until the evil King K. Rool and his band of Kremlings burst onto the scene. Driven by insatiable greed, they steal the island's precious supply of bananas, leaving the Kongs without their most precious treasure.
Faced with such injustice, Donkey Kong and Diddy go to get their bananas back. Across six vibrant worlds, from lush jungles to icy mountains, they face hordes of Kremlings, clever traps and challenging puzzles.
On their journey, the Kongs have the help of various allies. Cranky Kong, Donkey's grumpy grandfather, offers them advice and warnings from his beach hut. Funky Kong, the laid-back surfer, rents them water vehicles to explore the island's shores. And Snoopy, a chatty parrot, guides them through the most complex mazes.
In each world, Donkey Kong and Diddy must overcome a series of action-packed levels, using their unique abilities to advance. Donkey Kong, with his brute strength, can break obstacles and defeat enemies. More agile and lighter, Diddy Kong can perform acrobatic jumps and reach areas inaccessible to Donkey.
At the end of each world, the Kongs face a formidable Kremling boss. Each boss presents a unique challenge, requiring a combination of skill, strategy and teamwork to defeat.
After overcoming all the obstacles, Donkey Kong and Diddy finally reach King K. Rool's hideout at the top of the Krakatoa volcano. In an epic battle, the Kongs face the evil King Kremling, using everything they have learned on their journey to defeat him.
With King K. Rool defeated, the bananas are recovered and peace returns to Kong Island. The Kongs are celebrated, and the island is once again a place of joy and abundance.
