Like the full game, the demo of God of War - Chains of Olympus is exclusive to the portable console PlayStation Portable (PSP). There has been No re-releases officers to other platforms, although the community of emulators has allowed the demo to be enjoyed on PC and mobile devices, while preserving the experience for new generations of players.

The demo of Chains of Olympus offers a section playable that develops on the coast of Attica, where Kratos is facing hordes of enemies, the persians, including soldiers, mythological beasts, and the cyclops machine gun torso. The demo allows players to experience the system of visceral combat of the game, using Chains of Olympus and the blades of Chaos to eliminate their enemies brutally.

History

Kratos, haunted by the nightmares of his past mortal, receives an urgent request of Athena, the goddess of wisdom. Helios, the Sun god, has vanished, plunging the world into perpetual darkness. Without your light, your life is withering and the Chaos threatens to take over the world.

Guided by Athena, Kratos embarks on an epic journey to find Helios. His journey takes him through the mythic lands full of dangers and challenges. You must face hordes of mythological creatures, surf the seas are infested with monsters and overcome the deadly traps.

In their journey, Kratos is with Persephone, the goddess of spring, who reveals to him that Helios has been captured by Hades, the god of the underworld. To rescue him, Kratos must descend to the depths of Tartarus, the realm of the dead, and face the hordes of hell.

After an arduous battle, Kratos manages to liberate Helios, but not without a price. Persephone, in an act of sacrifice, offer to stay in the Tartar to keep Hades under control. Kratos, moved by his bravery, he promises to protect her and honor her memory.

With Helios released, the light return to the world and life begins to blossom again. Kratos, marked by his trip and the losses suffered, was reaffirmed as the champion of the gods, determined to protect the world from the forces of evil.

The history of Chains of Olympus concludes with a note of hope. Kratos, despite his tormented past, find a purpose in their fight against the darkness. His journey has become a hero, more strong and compassionate, ready to face the challenges that await you in the future.
