Description

Wild Gunman for the NES title is a pioneer in the use of the accessory to the NES Zapper, a light gun that was connected to the console. Launched in 1984, this game is a first-person shooter offering a unique gaming experience for the time.

The mechanics of the game was simple but effective: on the screen appeared the figures of jeans that shoot the player, and this should respond with the Zapper before being reached. The speed and accuracy were essential to obtain a high score. The game had different levels of difficulty, which increased both the speed of the enemy shots as the number of targets on the screen.

Despite its simplicity, Wild Gunman was a title very innovative for its time. The use of the Zapper brought with it a sense of immersion that few games could provide at that time. In addition, the game had an aesthetic, a western to be very attractive, graphics-simple but effective.

Wild Gunman has not been ported to many other platforms, since most of the consoles later included accessories light gun compatible. However, the game has been included in various compilations of classics of the NES, which has led to new generations of players to enjoy this unique experience.
