Paper Mario land on the Nintendo 64 in the year 2000, with an innovative proposal which combined elements of platformer, rpg and puzzle, all framed in a unique visual style and charming. The game is characterized by its aesthetic "papercraft", where characters, scenarios and objects seem to be made of paper. History
In the Mushroom Kingdom, an invitation to a cake of Princess Peach marked the beginning of an extraordinary adventure for Mario. Upon arriving at the castle, she discovers a stage devastated and the princess captive by Bowser, who has stolen the Star Spiritual and boasts an invincible power. Desperate to restore peace, Mario embarks on a mission guided by the Star Fayzee. Together, they travel to six different worlds, each with their own aesthetic and unique challenges.
The adventure begins in the Forest of the Flower Orange, a place full of life and colour, where Mario is Goombario, his first companion. Goombario, with their ability to communicate with characters and objects, it becomes a key part of solving puzzles and to get crucial information.
In the Lake of Crystal, Mario is facing the threat of the Cheep Cheeps, fish piranha that inhabit the waters. Kooper, a Koopa Troopas in search of redemption, will join the team at this point. Kooper, with their mastery of the boomerang, help Mario reach new areas and defeat enemies aquatic.
The Volcano is Cold, a place full of lava and dangers, puts to the test the courage of Mario and his allies. Bombinette, a Bob-omb with a vengeance against Bowser, joins the team at this point. Bombinette, with its dominance of the explosives, and help Mario to open new paths and defeat powerful enemies.
The Cotton Clouds, a place full of floating platforms and enemies flying, presenting a new challenge to Mario and his allies. Parakarry, a Paragoomba in search of a legendary treasure, they join the team at this point. Parakarry, with its ability to transport Mario into the air, it facilitates the access to new areas and allows you to overcome challenging obstacles.
The Mansion Boo, a rather gloomy and full of ghosts, puts to the test the courage of Mario and his allies. Vivian, a shy ghost in search of a place in the world, joins the team at this point. Vivian, with his mastery of magic, help Mario to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies spectral.
The final battle is waged in the Bowser's Castle, an imposing fort and full of traps. Mario and his allies face the Koopa King in an epic confrontation. Bowser, with its huge, puts to the test the strength and cunning of Mario.
Thanks to the team work, courage and determination of Mario, Bowser is defeated and the Stars Spiritual recovered. Princess Peach is released, and the Mushroom Kingdom is saved. Mario and his allies are hailed as heroes, and the peace blossoms again in the kingdom.
